Sharing ICP rubrics across the team

TL;DR

ICP rubrics are workspace-shared by default — every team member with appropriate role can see them. For multi-team workspaces, you can scope rubrics to specific groups; for cross-org sharing, export and import.

Default visibility

Any rubric created in a workspace is visible to all admins and managers in that workspace. Members can see and use rubrics; only admins and managers can edit them. This is the right default for most teams — one shared ICP, debated and refined collaboratively.

Scoping rubrics to groups

If your workspace has multiple teams or business units with different ICPs, you can scope a rubric to a specific group. ICP → [rubric] → Settings → Scope → assign group. Only members of that group see and use the rubric. Use this for genuinely separate motions, not for hiding work-in-progress.

Exporting and importing rubrics

Useful for sharing across workspaces (your sandbox to production), backing up before a major change, or sharing with a consulting partner. ICP → [rubric] → Export produces a JSON file with criteria, weights, and disqualifiers. Import via ICP → New Rubric → Import.

Collaborating on edits

Rubric edits are versioned: every save creates a new version, old versions accessible via History. If two people edit simultaneously, the last save wins (no conflict resolution; this is a known limitation). For active collaboration, coordinate edits via the Comments panel on the rubric.

Discussing without editing

Every rubric has a Comments panel where team members can discuss criteria, propose changes, debate weights. Comments don't change the rubric — they're a conversation layer for the team to align before edits.
