By default, data is stored in US-East (Virginia). EU-Central (Frankfurt) and AP-Southeast (Sydney) residency are available on Enterprise plans. Residency is a one-time configuration — migration is handled once, with no ongoing duplication.
Default region
All Golden DB data, agent activity logs, and account artifacts are stored in US-East unless you configure otherwise. Storage is multi-AZ within the region with continuous encrypted backups.
EU residency
Available on Enterprise. Data is stored in EU-Central (Frankfurt), which most EU customers require under GDPR. Migration from US to EU is a one-time move coordinated with your account team; there's no ongoing cross-region duplication afterward.
APAC residency
Available on Enterprise. Data is stored in AP-Southeast (Sydney). This is less common and typically required by Australian/New Zealand government and financial-services customers with local data-handling obligations.
What residency covers
Residency governs where your customer data lives at rest. Some processing and sub-processors may operate elsewhere under the transfer mechanisms in the DPA; the sub-processor list at turgo.ai/legal names each one and its region. Talk to your account team to confirm a specific compliance requirement.
