The Voice Agent discloses it's an AI at call start where required, honors quiet hours and consent rules per region, and records only where legally permitted. Compliance rules are enforced automatically and can't be disabled.
AI disclosure
In jurisdictions requiring disclosure, the agent opens with a clear statement that the call is AI-assisted. Disclosure language is configurable in wording but not removable where legally required.
Consent and quiet hours
The agent enforces region-specific calling windows and consent requirements (TCPA in the US, similar regimes elsewhere). Numbers on do-not-call registries are suppressed automatically.
Recording and transcripts
Calls are recorded and transcribed only where permitted; two-party-consent regions get consent prompts or transcript-only mode. Recordings follow your data-retention policy.
Your responsibilities
turgo enforces the mechanical rules; you're responsible for lawful basis and appropriate use cases in your markets. Review the compliance matrix in Settings → Voice → Compliance before enabling new regions.
