Multi-agent pods explained

TL;DR

A pod is multiple agents working the same motion with shared data and coordinated hand-offs — e.g. SDR generates, BDR qualifies inbound, Voice Agent calls warm leads. Pods prevent collisions automatically.

Why pods

One agent per job outperforms one agent doing everything. A pod lets each agent specialize while sharing the same Golden DB, suppression lists, and account state — so no prospect hears from two agents at once.

Coordination rules

Pods enforce single-owner-per-contact: whichever agent is actively working a contact owns it until hand-off or timeout. Hand-offs are explicit events in the timeline (e.g. SDR → Voice Agent after email engagement).

A typical pod

  • AI SDR — outbound generation.
  • AI BDR — inbound qualification.
  • AI Voice Agent — calls engaged leads.
  • AI Marketing Agent — nurture for not-yet-ready.

Four agents, one funnel, zero double-contacting.

Setting up a pod

Agents → Pods → New Pod → add agents → define hand-off rules from templates. Start with the default hand-off template; customize after you've watched a few weeks of real hand-offs.
