You control how long turgo keeps different classes of data. Golden DB records persist until you delete them; activity logs, provenance, and audit trails have plan-based defaults; and cancelled workspaces are deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Configure it under Settings → Data → Retention.
Record retention
Golden DB accounts and contacts are retained until you delete them or a suppression/erasure request removes them. Enrichment refreshes update records in place rather than creating duplicates, so records don't accumulate silently.
Logs and provenance
Field-provenance history is retained 90 days by default (longer on Enterprise). Audit-log retention follows your plan — 90 days / 1 year / 7 years (see Audit logs). Agent activity timelines follow the same policy as audit logs. Recordings and transcripts follow your workspace data-retention setting.
Configurable policies
Settings → Data → Retention lets you set retention windows for activity data and enable automatic purge of stale records (e.g. contacts untouched for N months). Auto-purge respects suppression lists so purged records aren't re-enriched back in.
Deletion and cancellation
Deletions propagate to synced systems per your workflow and add the record to suppression. A cancelled workspace goes read-only, then all data is permanently deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Cold-storage archives of audit logs are the one exception, recoverable for one additional year.
