TL;DR
Four built-in roles: Admin (everything), Manager (operations without billing/security), Member (daily work, no settings), Viewer (read-only). Custom roles available on higher tiers for finer control.
The built-in four
- Admin — settings, billing, integrations, users, all data.
- Manager — agents, sequences, workflows, conflict resolution; no billing, no security settings, no user management.
- Member — works the product (Unibox, sequences they own, reports).
- Viewer — dashboards and reports only.
Data scoping
Independent of role, data can scope by territory or team: a Member scoped to EMEA sees EMEA accounts everywhere — queue, reports, exports. Scoping is inherited by everything the user touches.
Assignment
Settings → Users → [user] → Role. Role changes apply on next page load; the audit log records who changed whom.
Principle
Default new users to Member, promote deliberately. Admin count should be small and justified — every admin is a full-blast-radius account.
