Set up your workspace

TL;DR

Your workspace is the container for everything — agents, data, integrations, team. Name it after your company, set the time zone and currency correctly, and configure brand voice before anyone deploys agents.

Step 1 — Name the workspace

Settings → Workspace → Name. Use the company name ("Acme Inc.") not a project name. The name appears in agent signatures and customer-facing reports, so it should be the brand customers know.

Step 2 — Set the time zone and currency

Settings → Workspace → Locale. Time zone affects when agents send (default: business hours in this zone). Currency affects how revenue figures display in reporting. Get both right before any agent ships.

Step 3 — Configure brand voice

Settings → Brand Voice. Upload 3–5 sample emails or marketing assets that represent how you sound. The agent reads these and calibrates its drafts to match. You can always edit individual drafts later, but the voice config sets the default.

Step 4 — Set compliance defaults

Settings → Compliance. Pick your default opt-out language, set the geographies you operate in (affects GDPR/CCPA handling), and configure the disclosure language for AI Voice Agent calls if you'll use voice.

Step 5 — Save and lock the workspace

Once configured, lock the workspace settings (Settings → Workspace → Lock). This prevents accidental changes that could affect every agent's behavior. Unlock requires admin role.
