TL;DR

Connect a phone provider (Twilio or default turgo telephony), configure the voice (synthesized voice + script + disclosure), and assign use cases. Voice handles inbound qualification calls, outbound scheduling, and reply follow-up.

Step 1 — Connect telephony

Settings → Integrations → Telephony. Choose default turgo telephony (simplest — turgo provides numbers) or bring-your-own Twilio (more control). Purchase or assign phone numbers per geography.

Step 2 — Configure the voice

Agents → AI Voice Agent → Voice Settings. Pick a synthesized voice (we offer 8 male and 8 female voices across English, Spanish, German, French, and Portuguese). Set the speaking pace and tone, then test with sample scripts.

Step 3 — Configure the disclosure

Required by law in many jurisdictions: callers must be told they're speaking with AI. The default disclosure is: "Hi, this is [name], an AI assistant calling on behalf of [your company]." You can customize the wording but the disclosure cannot be removed.

Step 4 — Assign use cases

Agents → AI Voice Agent → Use Cases. Choose outbound qualification, inbound triage, scheduling assist, or reply follow-up. Each use case has its own script template.

Step 5 — Test before going live

Test → Call yourself. The agent calls a phone number you specify and runs through the configured script. Iterate until the conversation feels natural, then toggle Live.
