With your CRM, mailbox, and ICP already set up, deploying an AI SDR takes ~10 minutes. Pick a template, set the daily budget, configure guardrails, and toggle Live.
Step 1 — Open Agents and click Deploy AI SDR
Agents → Deploy → AI SDR. The deploy wizard walks through 5 steps. Most defaults are correct for first-time deployment.
Step 2 — Pick the right template
- Signal-triggered outbound — the agent works accounts when intent/funding/hiring signals fire. Recommended for first deploy.
- ICP-driven volume — the agent works any ICP-matched account on a steady cadence. Good for high-volume teams.
- Named account 1:1 — the agent works a fixed list you provide. Good for ABM.
- Hybrid — combines signal triggers with named-account focus. Most flexible, also most complex to tune.
Step 3 — Set the daily account budget
How many accounts can the agent engage per day? Start with 20 for week 1. Once you see the agent's quality is good, raise to 50, then 100. The default cap is 200 — change in Settings → Limits if needed.
Step 4 — Configure guardrails
Three guardrails to set: brand voice (which voice config to use), claim restrictions (what the agent cannot claim — pricing specifics, competitor comparisons it shouldn't make), and escalation rules (when the agent passes to a human).
Step 5 — Toggle to Live
Review the summary, click Deploy, and toggle to Live. The agent starts working accounts within 5 minutes. You'll see the first actions in the Agent Timeline.
What to watch in the first 48 hours
Open Agent Timeline → filter by the new agent. Look for: accounts the agent skipped (did it skip the right ones?), drafts the agent sent (does the voice sound right?), replies the agent received (is it handling them appropriately?). Adjust before scaling up.
