Reputation is monitored per mailbox and per domain from bounce patterns, spam-folder signals, engagement, and postmaster data. The health badge summarizes it; the deliverability dashboard shows the detail. React to Amber before it becomes Red.
The signals monitored
Hard/soft bounce rates, spam-complaint indicators, open/reply engagement trends, seed-test inbox placement, Google Postmaster domain reputation (when connected), and blocklist presence.
Health badge states
- Green — send normally.
- Amber — early warning: the throttle tightens automatically; review recent sends and audience quality.
- Red — sending paused on this mailbox pending intervention.
Connect Google Postmaster
Settings → Deliverability → Postmaster. Connecting gives domain-level reputation straight from Google — the single best external signal for Gmail-heavy audiences.
Weekly habit
Scan the deliverability dashboard weekly: per-mailbox trend lines, placement-test results, and bounce composition. Deterioration caught in week one is a tweak; caught in week four it's a recovery project.
