New mailboxes start at low volume with engagement-positive warm-up traffic and ramp to full capacity over ~14 days. turgo automates the schedule; your job is not to interfere with it.
Why warm-up matters
Providers treat sudden volume from a new sender as spam behavior. A gradual ramp with real engagement builds the reputation that gets your real outbound inboxed. Skipping warm-up is the #1 cause of day-one deliverability damage.
The automated schedule
- Days 1–3: single-digit sends within the warm-up network (real accounts that open, reply, and rescue from spam).
- Days 4–7: 15–30/day, warm-up plus a trickle of real sends.
- Days 8–14: ramp to 50–100/day, shifting toward real traffic.
What you should and shouldn't do
Do: complete SPF/DKIM/DMARC before day 1, let the schedule run, and watch the health badge. Don't: manually blast from the mailbox during warm-up, raise caps early, or connect the mailbox to other sending tools simultaneously.
After day 14
The badge flips to Warmed and full caps apply. Warm-up traffic continues at a low background level to maintain an engagement baseline — standard practice, leave it on.
