Deliverability is earned before it's spent: authenticate your domain, warm new mailboxes, keep volume paced, and let bounce and complaint signals throttle you. A healthy sender reputation is the single biggest lever on reply rates.
Authenticate first
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC must be set correctly on your sending domain before volume ramps. Consider a dedicated subdomain for outbound so cold sending never risks your primary domain's reputation. turgo checks these when you connect a mailbox.
Warm before you send
New mailboxes need a warm-up period before high-volume sending — never blast from a cold mailbox. Wait for the Health: Good badge, and ramp volume gradually rather than jumping to the daily cap on day one.
Pace and cap volume
Spread sends across the day and across mailboxes rather than bursting. Keep per-mailbox daily volume within healthy limits and add mailboxes to scale rather than pushing one harder. Paced sending looks human and protects reputation.
Let signals throttle you
Watch bounce rate, spam-complaint rate, and mailbox health (see Mailbox health badges explained). Rising bounces mean list-quality problems — tighten enrichment and verification. A deliverability warning (see Monitor sender reputation) is a signal to slow down and fix the cause, not to push through.
