Upgrade any time from Settings → Billing → Change Plan — it takes effect immediately and you're charged a prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal so you don't lose paid-for capacity mid-cycle.
How to upgrade
Settings → Billing → Change Plan → pick the higher tier → confirm. New credits, seats, and features unlock within a minute. We charge the prorated difference for the remainder of the current billing period; the full new rate begins at the next renewal.
How to downgrade
Same screen, pick the lower tier. The change is scheduled for your renewal date so you keep the current plan's credits and features until then. If your usage exceeds the lower plan's limits at renewal, we'll flag it before the switch so nothing breaks unexpectedly.
What happens to your data
Downgrading never deletes Golden DB records. If the lower plan has shorter audit-log retention, older logs age out per that plan's policy. Features gated to higher tiers — custom roles, extra workspaces — become read-only rather than disappearing, so you can re-upgrade without reconfiguring.
Enterprise moves
Enterprise plans are contract-based; upgrades to or changes within Enterprise go through sales@turgo.ai rather than the self-serve screen. Reach out a few weeks ahead of a big volume increase so provisioning and any security review are ready.
