Every change to Golden DB — record creation, field update, identity-resolution decision, manual edit — is logged in the audit trail. Search by record, by user, by source, by date. Audit logs retained 7 years on Enterprise.
What's logged
- Record creation — new account or contact created, with source.
- Field updates — every field value change, with before/after, source, and reason.
- Identity resolution — every merge decision, with the records merged and the confidence.
- Manual edits — every human edit, with the user who made it.
- Deletions — every record deletion, with the user and reason.
Where to search
Data → Audit Log. Filter by record (find all changes to a specific account or contact), by user (find everything a specific person changed), by source (find everything one data source contributed), or by date range.
Export for external audit
Click Export. CSV or JSON of the filtered audit log. Useful for compliance audits, internal data-quality reviews, or external auditor requests.
Retention
Audit log retention: 90 days on Build, 1 year on Growth, 7 years on Enterprise. Beyond retention, data is archived to cold storage and remains recoverable via support ticket for 1 additional year.
