Schedule sends in recipient timezone

Collection Sequences & OutreachReading time 3 minUpdated Jul 2026
TL;DR

Sends are scheduled in each recipient's local timezone by default, inside your defined sending window (default 8am–5pm weekdays local). Timezone comes from the Golden Record location.

How timezone is determined

Priority order: contact's city/state from the Golden Record → company HQ location → domain inference. Confidence is shown per contact; unknowns default to your workspace timezone.

Configure the window

Settings → Sending → Windows. Default 8am–5pm Monday–Friday recipient-local. Tighten (9–11am only) or extend per sequence — signal-triggered sequences may justify same-evening sends.

Global audiences

A sequence spanning US, Europe, and APAC automatically spreads sends across a 24-hour cycle. Mailbox daily caps apply on the mailbox's own clock, so global sequences use send capacity efficiently.

Overrides

Individual steps can force a specific time ("send Tuesday 9am recipient time") for time-sensitive plays. Voice Agent calls follow separate, stricter quiet-hours rules per regulation.
