Sequence A/B testing

TL;DR

Test one variable at a time — subject line, opener angle, CTA, cadence timing — with automatic traffic splitting and significance detection. The sequence report declares a winner when the data supports it.

Set up a test

Sequence → any step → Add Variant. Write the variant, choose the split (50/50 default), and launch. New prospects are assigned randomly; existing in-flight prospects keep their original path.

What to test first

In impact order: opener angle (biggest lever), subject line, CTA specificity, then send timing. Don't test body-copy micro-edits until the big levers are settled.

Reading results

The report shows per-variant reply rate and positive-reply rate with a significance indicator. Wait for significance — early leads flip constantly under n=100 per arm.

Promote the winner

One click promotes the winning variant to 100% of traffic and archives the loser. Log what you learned in the sequence notes — accumulated test history is the team's playbook.
