Enrichment can come back empty when no provider in the cascade has data, the record lacks enough to match on, credits are exhausted, or a disqualifier stopped it. Check the record's provenance panel to see which providers were tried.
Check provenance
Open the record and view field provenance — it shows which providers were queried and what each returned. If every provider was tried and returned nothing, the data genuinely isn't available for that person.
Common causes
Not enough to match on (a name with no email or domain), the person is genuinely absent from provider databases (common for very small or very new companies), enrichment credits exhausted (see Credits and usage), or the record was disqualified by your ICP rules before enrichment ran.
Fixes
Add any identifier you have — a domain, a LinkedIn URL — to give the waterfall something to match on. Confirm credits remain. Check the record wasn't disqualified. If a specific provider should have the data, verify that provider is enabled in your cascade (see Set up your provider cascade).
When data simply isn't available
Waterfall enrichment approaches but never guarantees 100% fill — some people aren't in any provider's data. For those, the record stays partial; the agent works with what's known or deprioritizes it.
