You can pay monthly or annually. Annual is billed once up front at a discount (typically two months free versus monthly) and locks your rate for the year. Switch between them from Settings → Billing.
The tradeoff
Monthly gives you flexibility to change or cancel each cycle. Annual gives a meaningful discount and rate protection but commits the year. Teams still evaluating usually start monthly; teams with a stable motion switch to annual to cut cost.
Switching to annual
Settings → Billing → Billing Cycle → Annual. You're charged the annual total (minus any unused portion of the current monthly period, applied as credit) and your renewal date moves to one year out. The per-month effective rate drops immediately.
Switching back to monthly
You can move from annual to monthly at your annual renewal, not mid-term — the annual commitment runs its full year. Set a reminder before renewal if you want to change, or contact billing to discuss options for a mid-term change.
Credits on annual
Annual plans still allocate credits monthly, not as one yearly lump — this keeps sending paced and deliverability healthy. Unused monthly credits don't roll over; if you consistently under-use, a smaller plan may fit better than banking credits.
