Intent Data
What is Intent Data?
Intent Data answers a question every B2B team has: which accounts are actively in-market right now? Third-party providers (Bombora, G2 buyer intent, TechTarget) aggregate signals from publisher networks, review sites, and search behavior. First-party intent comes from your own site, your community, and your sales conversations. Intent Data is most powerful when layered — a single source is noisy, but multiple sources agreeing is high-signal. The art is acting on intent fast enough that the buying window is still open.
Why it matters
- Surfaces accounts in active evaluation that would otherwise be invisible until they raise a hand.
- Multi-source intent (third-party + first-party) is much more reliable than single-source.
- Time-decays fast — intent from 60 days ago is mostly noise.
Use cases
- Surge-triggered outbound. A Bombora surge fires an immediate ICP-fit outbound from the agent.
- Account prioritization. High-intent accounts move to the top of every rep's queue.
- Content gating. Intent-flagged accounts get the heavy-touch nurture; cold accounts get lighter touches.
How turgo helps
turgo ingests intent from Bombora, G2, and first-party sources, layers them with confidence scoring, and triggers signal-based agent action the moment surge thresholds are crossed.
