Real-Time Enrichment
What is Real-Time Enrichment?
Real-Time Enrichment is enrichment at the speed of inbound. Where batch enrichment runs nightly on the day's new records, real-time enrichment fires on form submission, populates the record with firmographic, technographic, and contact data, and lets routing and scoring happen against a complete profile rather than a half-filled one. The trade-off is cost (real-time calls to providers are pricier than batch) and latency (every enrichment provider's response time matters). Mature programs use a waterfall — try the cheapest fast provider first, fall back to richer providers only when needed.
Why it matters
- Enables short forms (high conversion) plus complete records (good routing).
- Routing and scoring decisions made against complete profiles, not stubs.
- Compatible with real-time automation — no batch delay breaks the inbound flow.
Use cases
- Form-fill enrichment. Form submission triggers real-time enrichment before routing.
- Trial-signup enrichment. New trial signups enriched in seconds to inform first-touch outreach.
- Demo-request enrichment. Demo request enriched and qualified before AE handoff.
How turgo helps
turgo's waterfall enrichment runs in real time on every form submission — typical end-to-end latency under 2 seconds — so downstream automation acts on complete records.
